The Lab E20 is a 3,000 sq ft, triple height ground floor commercial space designed by Christopher Raeburn in partnership with Get Living. Located at the gateway to East Bank, London’s newest cultural district, here in East Village (former Athletes Village, Olympic Park, London). Inspired by the original RAEBURN Lab in Hackney, The Lab E20 is the flagship for the East Village Placemaking Strategy (2020, Get Living), designed to manifest the vision of a new co-designed positive fashion-led creative industries cluster here in East London.
Founded by Yasmin Jones-Henry (Placeshaping Strategist and Financial Times Writer) and Christopher Raeburn, (Creative Director and founder of RAEBURN), The Lab E20 has social mission: to highlight the work of local innovators and NextGen talent, supporting career pathways and education with a particular focus on the creative industries and sustainable living.
As the gateway to London’s Fashion District and East Bank cultural cluster, The Lab E20 has built an international reputation for community-led co-design and cross sector collaboration. We support activations along our 3 pillars of Circular Economy, Climate Action and Regenerative Design.
Regenerative By Design
Curated by Yasmin Jones-Henry, Senior Strategist, RAEBURN and sponsored by Get Living: Regenerative By Design is The Lab E20’s flagship cultural programme and platform for cross-sector collaboration. Our exhibitions, events and community workshops are designed for an eclectic and intergenerational audience interested in sustainable living and career pathways into the creative industries.
Co-Design is a principle of our curatorial approach. We work with local artists, designers, entrepreneurs, schools, colleges and charities to deliver our programming. If you’d like to attend any of our events, exhibitions or workshops, please see our monthly schedule.
